I'm running the Chicago Marathon for Chicago Fair Trade! 

Fair Trade is about hope, human dignity, empowerment, and lasting change, not handouts.  It is about breaking the cycle of poverty! 

 

Chicago Fair Trade includes over sixty member organizations, businesses, non-profit organizations, faith based groups, educational institutions, as well as students and individuals who have come together to increase support for fair trade in the Chicago metro area through education, advocacy and consumer campaigns.

 

Funds raised will aid in the restoration of homes and schools in the Napo River region of Ecuador that flooded, severely impacting cacao farmers, producer for Kallari fair trade chocolate.
