Animal Enrichment
The Conservators' Center Inc. is a home of last resort, providing a haven for elderly animals, animals with behavorial problems, or those with extensive injuries. Due to the fact that these animals are in captivity, they need enviromental stimuli. The goal of enviromental enrichment is to improve an animal's quality of life by increasing physical activity and stimulating natural behaviors. Any novel stimulus which evokes an animals interest can be considered enriching.
Conservators' Center provides a positive atmosphere by incorporating stimulating enrichment such as toys, donated evergreen trees, scents, food treats, even used tires. These toys provide entertainment for the animals as well as the humans. As you can see Shelby loves her boomer ball. Please help us to improve their quality of life through your donation. All monies will go toward provisions for the animals.
