Dakota Stranik's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
So you may already know me, but just in case you don't here's a bit about me-
Born and raised in Alaska, I've made my way over to the East Coast where I've been working for the last four years on a degree in Architecture from Cornell University. I'll be finishing up with that in May 2010! Being at Cornell has kept me surrounded by extremely ambitious and motivated people, and I've become more and more aware at how pivotal my teenage years were in getting me to a position today where I have a near limitless spectrum of possibilities and future potential before me. As much as I'd like to think that this was a product of my own merit, it really was because of the amazing love and support of friends and family.
Covenant House is an organization that acts as that support for teens who find themselves on their own. You can read many success stories on the Covenant House website of kids who have taken advantage of this charity and worked to a place where they now have a world of possibilities and a future ahead of them!
Please help me support this charity and achieve a goal of my own of completing my first marathon! Even just $5 makes a big difference, so don't feel like you have to give a lot in order to contribute!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
