ASGGC has opened the areas first "Support & Resouce Center".  We have given over 400 families assistance, advocacy and support over the last several years.  With your help we are able to achieve our next goal.  Any amount that you are able to donate is greatly appreciated.  There are 15,000 people diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.  1,000 of them live in Genesee County!  ASGGC has members from Genesee and several surrounding counties. 

About me:  I'm self employed, which, gives me the flexibility I need to care for my two boys.  Austin & Andrew were diagnosed in 2006 with Aspergers Syndrome.  Austin is 17 years old and has found a passion for mechanical engineering.  Currently enrolled at the Genesee Area Skill Center in the Discovery E-Mode.  He is also a Star Boy Scout and works part time at McDonalds.  Austin is attending Kettering in July 2012.

Andrew is 11 years old. He has done very well in school and made great friends this year. He continues to blossom and grow daily! He earned his Tenderfoot rank for Boy Scouts. Andrew joined basketball and soccer this year and just loves it!

ASGGC has given our family opportunties that are not available anywhere else.  We are given the support and assistance we need to make sure that Austin and Andrew lead productive, independent adult lives.
