Thank you for visiting our "Finish for Faith"  fundraising page in honor of our mother Faith Hawley.   The three of us are running the San Antonio Marathon on Nov 15, 2009 to help raise money for melanoma research.  Our beloved mother passed away from this devastating disease at the age of 56 after an almost five-year long battle.

We have trained all over the world - in Iraq, Australia, Botswana, Virginia, and Hawaii- for the upcoming marathon in order to help raise funds for melanoma research.    Treatment options for metastatic melanoma have unusually low success rates and further scientific research is sorely needed.  We would be honored to have you support our efforts in memory of Faith by donating today to the Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF). MRF supports novel melanoma research as well as patient education (we have attended their events, which are exceptional and bring in top notch doctors to talk to patients).  Furthermore, MRF received a four-star rating (the highest possible rating) by Charity Navigator (charitynavigator.org) meaning it produces great value for your charity dollar.  Donations are also tax-deductible.
