I am trying to raise money to provide some relief to my sponsored child in Zambia.  I have been sponsoring Christopher now for nearly 3 years.   He and his family are desperately poor.  They live  on just dollars a day.   He lives with his mother, father, and little brother in a one room "house" that they spend more than half of their measly income renting. 

WIth the cost of food skyrocketing if they get to eat one meal a day they feel lucky, and that mean usually consists of a corn meal porridge. 

They have no running water or electricity.  Very few comforts we take for granted every day.

Despite this Christopher, who is 10, has managed to make it all the way to the 5th grade and is doing well in school.  He loves to learn, and is determined to pull himself out of poverty and make something of his life, and I want to help him do that!. 

I am raising money to help provide some small relief to the family, money so they can purchase clothing, food, and household goods that would make their day to day life a little more bearable.
