Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Elaine.

 

Elaine lives in the Philippines.  She is 7 years old, the youngest of three girls in the family.  She lives with her parents and two sisters in a very small bamboo home.  They currently sleep on the floor on woven grass mats. 

They live on $61 a month.. for a family of 5!  Can you imagine! 

What I hope to do is provide enough funding for the family to start an income generating project.  This will hopefully give the family means to increase their income and better provide for themselves.   I have asked CI about what particular projects are available in their area and am waiting to hear back exactly what "business" would work best, but never to early to start raising the money for it!

I would also love it if enough money was raised to buy the family beds....

Any donation, no matter how small, will help this desperately poor family strive toward a better life.
