Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!  On May 6th I will be participating in the 40 mile NYC Bike Tour with the Doctors Without Borders team!!!

 Doctors Without Borders is an international humanitarian organization that privodes assitance to individuals in need in more that 60 countries!!!  The money that I am fundrasing will support the more 27,000 field staff that are currently working in the field and advocacy efforts that hightlight worldwide issues that need attention and support.

To give you an idea of how much your donation to MSF can help people in desperate need of medical care:

- a $10 donation can purchase the material necessary to test 50 people for malaria;
- a $15 donation can provide two weeks of high‐protein meals to a severely malnourished child;
- a $25 donation can purchase a mosquito net to protect a person living in a malaria endemic region;
- a $35 donation can purchase enough vaccine to inoculate 85 children against measles;
- a $50 donation can treat 30 adults or 60 young children suffering from malaria; and
- a $100 donation can purchase supplies to build emergency shelters for four displaced families during a crisis.
