Dear family and friends,

The Chicago Marathon is now in the history books.  Thanks to each of you who gave generously to World Vision while sponsoring me as I ran.  I am honored that you would support me in this way.  Although I didn't meet my time goal, I did finish the race (which was my commitment to you in response to your commitment to me).  Thanks also to those of you who were not able to give, but were faithful in praying for me during the race.  It was another unseasonably hot day, and your prayers sustained me throughout the race.  Thank you all very much.

I believe World Vision plans on keeping this fund-raising page active until the end of December; so if you know of anyone who would care to give to World Vision's work in Africa, please direct them to my fund-raising page.  Thanks again.
