The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is an independent 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to achieve prevention and a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime by providing critical funding for innovative clinical and translational research at leading medical centers worldwide, and increasing public awareness about good breast health. Currently, more than 90 cents of every dollar donated is directed to breast cancer research and awareness programs. BCRF is currently funding 197 scientists from top universities and academic medical centers across the globe. In recognition of our exceptional efficiency, Charity Navigator has recently renewed our 4-star rating, our tenth such designation since 2002, and BCRF is additionally honored to be the only cancer organization to receive an “A+” rating from CharityWatch.
