Danielle Moore's Fundraising Page
Hello to all my family and friends,
On behalf of the Moore family, I would like to thank you for viewing our page and contributing whatever you can to the fundraiser. Most of you know Elyjah, but for those of you that do not I would like to give you some information about him. Elyjah suffered a stroke around the time of his birth and the doctors still do not know what caused the stroke. As a result, Elyjah participates in Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy on a weekly basis. He wears braces on his right hand and leg. There are many everyday tasks that the "typical" person does with ease that will be a challenge for Elyjah. He works very hard each and everyday to do the things that he wants and needs to do. Despite his physical limitations, Elyjah is a very happy, intelligent, energetic and strong-willed toddler.
Although this condition effects 1 in every 2,300 to 4,000 infants, there is only a small portion of government funds being spent on researching strokes in infants and children. Your contributions will go towards research, development, families in need, education, and awareness.
Thank you all for anything you can do to help.
