As many of you know, the week of Christmas 2009 we were very fortunate to adopt a puppy from the Animal Rescue League in Bedford, NH.  His name is Jed, which came from a children's novel about a boy named Jed and the adventures he had during the time of the American Revolution.  Our Jed is now enjoying daily adventures with his children Noah, Jonas and Kate in our backyard and beyond.  The adventures often include wooden "muskets" and the kids singing Yankee Doodle Dandy.  He also benefits from the sage wisdom and experience of his canine mentor, Tate.  

Jed has been a fantastic addition to our family.  Before he came to us I hadn't understood how much Tate yearned for the companionship of another dog.  Jed's smaller size has also presented an ideal opportunity for Noah to join in with his care and training.

Our lives are richer and our hearts fuller since this little dog came to live with us and we are very grateful to everyone at the Animal Rescue League who made it possible.  We hope that you will support this excellent organization by helping us to Kennel Up before Thursday, March 25th.  Please show your support and do a bit to help more animals like Jed find their forever homes.
