Hello! As someone who has five cats, all of them strays, I can tell you how much the Humane Society means to pet owners. Considering that they do what they can to adopt pets out, and take care of their health and well-being until they are adopted, they can really use our help. The population of cats and dogs at the shelter is growing and the needs of helpless animals is great. To show our support, a large number of us crazy folk are jumping into the ice-cold Susquehanna River at City Island, some of us in crazy costumes. Come out and show your support!
