Hi, thank you for taking the time to view my fundraising page.  This is my third year to participate in the Texas Big Beat as a registered drummer.  It is a drumming charity event to raise money for Cherish Our Children International (COCI) and Mr. Holland's Opus by trying to break the record for having the most drummers drumming full drum sets at the same time.  I also help my wife Mary Lee who is on the committee.  While I thoroughly believe in COCI, I have chosen Mr. Holland's Opus because music is what has changed my life.  I love knowing that the funds raised by both charities go to help kids right here in Houston.  Mr. Holland's Opus purchases and donates instruments to Houston area schools that don't have funds for their music programs.  If you haven't attended the Texas Big Beat, I highly recommend that you do.  Not only will you get to see me play, you can watch my son perform this year with the Humble High Trash Can Band as well as much more entertainment.  It's a wonderful, family friendly event....and all things drumming!  Thank you again for your donation and interest in these worthy causes.
