Human Rights First is a major human rights organization with a wide range of projects--from holding torturers reponsible to enforcing fair labor standards. We both deeply value the work they do, but we chose them in particular because they are reputed for the practice of just the sort of progressive international law that Luke will begin training for in the fall.
