The Inaugural - Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) - Kickoff 2009 will be held February 11, 2009 in Pierre, SD. A "Dignitary" Polar Plunge Event will be held at 4:00 pm in the river near the American Legion - 520 S. Pierre St.
Donations to Special Olympics South Dakota must be achieved to force these brave jumpers to break through the ice and test the water temp!! Jumpers must "take the plunge" if their designated donation level is reached. Here is our elite "dignitary" plunger list:
