PLEASE CONSIDER GIVING AND PASSING THIS LINK AROUND TO EVERYONE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK!

Thank you for visiting our Personal Fundraising Page.

Please help us get to the target of $10,000.00  Here is the deal!!!  ONLY TWO WEEKS REMAIN AND YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THESE SPECIAL ATHLETES.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.

It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts.

Officers from the Cary Police Department sat on the rooftop of the Chick-fil-A restaurant located at Stone Creek Village in Cary, North Carolina for three days!  It RAINED more than it SHINED!!!

The store is located at 1000 Valleystone Drive in Cary and the 3 days was May 15th 16th and 17th of 2008.  Cops were standing on top of the store and did not come down until the entire three days was met.  We could of came down early if the goal was met but it unfortunately was not.  Some of you may be asking why would someone do this and I say...

Because it is the right thing to do!

Competing in sporting events is challenging, time consuming and takes a great deal of money.  The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics is the driving force for these athletes to reach dreams they never thought were possible.

This charity event is totally volunteer and officers and other people working the event received no compensation except for the satisfaction of putting a smile on the face of a Special Olympics athlete.

We also had the largest inflatable McGruff in the World there again this year and it was a great opportunity to get a photo with the  CRIME FIGHTING DOG.

IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO GIVE AS THIS PAGE CLOSES IN OCTOBER of 2008!  Last year we got many donations after the event was completed and we are hoping for the same this year!

Thanks in advance for your support!

Many thanks for your support!  More importantly... Thanks to the entire staff at Chick-fil-A, The entire Town of Cary and the Cary Police Citizens Assisting Police or CAP TEAM for helping the flame of hope stay alive and well in North Carolina.

Last year we raised $8,000.00 in 3 days...  Help us get 2 thousand more this year!
