For 30 years Maine Handicaped Skiing now known as Maine Adaptive Sports and Recreation, has grown to be a national leader in adaptive year round sports that serve the physically disabled free of charge, thanks to people like you.

I've been a volunteer with Maine Adaptive for four years now.  Maine Adaptive's core programs are still winter based, but I have the seen the summer program expand with more veterans programs, kids camps, and the adddition of fishing and hiking. This past year 400 volunteers have been able to provided over 3800 lessons to aproxamately 620 participants. The smiles on both sides are endless and invigorating.  I have never heared any one say we can not ,it is always how can we make it work.
