Thank you for visiting my Polar Plunge fundraising page. They say anyone with a little guts and a warm heart can take the Plunge and I am one of those folks. I’m collecting pledges from family, friends, co-workers and anyone else who wants to support the more than 22,000 athletes of Special Olympics Illinois! Your donations will help provide athletes with intellectual disabilities the chance to participate in year-round sports training and competition.
To reward your generosity, I’m going to join over 3,600 people statewide who will voluntarily jump into freezing cold water in the middle of winter as we take part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunges for Special Olympics Illinois.

I took the plunge for the 1st time 2 years ago. I had so much adrenaline pumping the 1st time, that I decided to do it again. That was a huge mistake! It was still fun to do and I hope you are able to donate something to this great cause. I really appreciate anything you are able to give. Think of it this way, I am taking the plunge so you don't have to!!!
