Team Adam 2008
It’s October – That mean its Buddy Walk time again!
For the fourth year in a row, Team Adam will be walking for the York Area Down Syndrome Association's Buddy Walk; in support of all the good work they do.
For those of you that have been following Adam’s progress year to year – here’s another update.
Adam is 5 and started kindergarten this year. He attends Mazie Gable Elementary with big sister Sarah and big brother Jason. He takes the bus both ways, eats lunch in the cafeteria and continues to get good reports from his teachers. He has adjusted very well and loves going to school. He still loves to be outside playing or inside watching his videos and he especially loves his ice cream.
As Team Adam is getting ready to participate in this year’s Buddy Walk, please consider supporting us by donating through this web site. (Of course donations can still be made the old fashioned way – see below.) Last year, thanks to so many of you, Team Adam was able to raise over $4,000!!
The Buddy walk will be October 11th, 10:00 am at Lehr Park in Dover, PA. We would love to see you at the walk and then have you join us at our home after the walk for a picnic to celebrate and visit. More details are available at www.firstgiving.com/yorkdownsyndrome.
