Team Adam is getting ready for this year’s Buddy Walk.  This will be our third year walking for the York Area Down Syndrome Association and we are especially excited this year since we will be sharing a portion of the donations with the Special Olympics.

 

Adam has had a great year.  His language has really come alive this year both in his signing, he can sign most of the alphabet and about 40 words; and in his speaking.  Between playing with his brother and sister he is always in motion and probably laughing or smiling about something.  His teachers all say he is doing great at school and his Mom and Dad have to agree.

 

As Team Adam is getting ready to participate in this year’s Buddy Walk, please consider supporting us by donating through this web site.  (Of course donations can still be made the old fashioned way – see below.)  Last year, thanks to so many of you, Team Adam was able to raise over $3,000!!

 

The Buddy walk will be October 13^th, 10:00 am at Lehr Park in Dover, PA.  We would love to see you at the walk and then have you join us at our home after the walk for a picnic to celebrate and visit.  More details are available at www.firstgiving.com/yorkdownsyndrome.
