Dear Friends and Family,

On June 10, 2012, I will participating in the 9th Annual Sharon Timlin 5k Race/Walk to Cure ALS. This event raises money towards finding a cure for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. ALS is a progressive and fatal illness that attached motor neurons. When these neurons die, the ability of the brain to control muscle movement is lost. This results in paralysis and is terminal usually in three to five years.

My personal fundraising goal is listed above. This money will be directed to UMass Medical Center where Dr. Robert Brown and his colleagues are doing groundbreaking research on this devastating disease. All donations are tax deductible and company matching contribututions are highly appreciated.
