Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. On 13 September 2008 I will join many others from Ithaca and the surrounding area in a bike ride around Cayuga Lake to raise funds to support the Southern Tier Aids Program (STAP). STAP is our area's primary HIV/AIDS service provider. Although many people with HIV/AIDS have more hope now than they did in the past, infection rates continue to rise in young people, people of color, women, and people over fifty. STAP has more clients now than they have ever had in 22 years of providing HIV/AIDS services. The need continues to be great. Last year I rode (along with Adam and about 350 of our closest friends) 100 miles around Cayuga Lake. It was an unforgettable experience! I have made a commitment to doing the same this year. I am training for the physical and mental challenge this presents and your support will be a tremendious boast to me and will be greatly appreciated by STAP and its clients.
