Ahoj Water Supporters!!

Thank you for coming to the fundraising page for my Prague to London Run. The purpose of the Run is to raise awareness about and funding for access to safe drinking water. $30 provides water for 1 person for life, and I am hoping that together we can save 333 lifes (hence the fundraising goal of $9990).

Lack of access to safe drinking water is a serious problem. Please consider these facts:

1.1 billion: the number of people who don't have access to safe drinking water

1/2: The amount of the world's hospital beds occupied by people with waterborne illnesses

6000: the number of people that die each DAY from unsafe water (= 2.2 million per year)

6km (~4 miles): the average distance that women in Africa and Asia walk to collect water

YOU: the only way to stop all of this

$30 provides safe drinking water for one person for life !

 

Please contribute what you can. If you have a full time job, I am sure you can afford to contribute at least $30, which will provide safe drinking water for one person for life. If you don't have a full time job, I would be grateful for even $10.

Because of the generosity of German School Prague and their partner Bayer (who will cover all the expenses of this run), all your donations here go directly to Blue Planet Network (minus the small processing fee to this site) that provides safe drinking water to people around the world.
