Dear Friends and Fellow Animal Lovers,
As most of you know, 2010 has been an extremely rough year for me and our family, as I lost my beloved wife, Bernice to Cancer this past May.
Although I am suffering this loss, I still have an obligation to the animals at Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen, New York. In spite of my personal grief, we still must do what we can to stop inhumane treatment of animals.
As in the past, I will be doing the 4 mile walk to raise money for Farm Sanctuary so that they can continue to do the wonderful work that they have been doing for the past 23 years. With your help and mine, they will continue to do so. The walk this year will be Sept 25th in Baltimore and I will fly there on the 22nd to help our Daughter Jamie (who is organizing the Baltimore walk again this year) set up for the event.
We are counting on your support again this year as you were so generous with you donations the past years.
You could send a tax deductable check to me at my home address, made out to Farm Sanctuary or you could go on my website www.firstgiving.com/davecohen and make your tax deductable donation there.
We really need you help. This is for the animals and I know that you would want only the best treatment for them.
Thank you so much for your support. I will do this 4 mile walk rain or shine, sleet or snow , 30 degrees or 115 degrees. Please lend a hand and support me.
If you would like to see the type of work that Farm Sanctuary does in New York and California, visit their web site at www.farmsanctuary.org you so much,k
Dave
