David Harmon's Fundraising Page
4:26 - a personal best. Thanks for visiting my Fundraising Page and for putting us over the top! More is better here, so I will be glad if you want to push the total higher. Please help to find cures through the Massachusetts General Hospital Children's Cancer and Leukemia Research Fund.
This year I again ran in memory of my best friend, Mike Fox. He was incredibly generous to me and to many others. He got me to run with him, and he convinced me that I could do the Boston Marathon. He planned to cheer me up "heartbreak hill", but then he got sick. Mike had a kind of cancer common in children, so it was fitting that I was running to help find cures for childhood cancers. The next year I ran again, but sadly, that was the day after Mike’s funeral. This year I was again thinking of Mike as I ran, as well as of many of my patients who have become my friends. Please contribute generously to find a cure for a disease that cost me what is most precious in the world, a truly great friend. Help us to find cures in time for our other friends and family who need this research to press forward as quickly as possible..
Both MGH and I appreciate your donation. Any amount will make a difference. Ask your employer about gift-matching programs to double your contribution. Forward this page to generous-spirited friends and family, as I have!. Over 95% of donations will go directly to research to fight cancers and leukemias that affect children. Cures for kids help adults too.
You can follow our fundraising progress at this site. On race day 4/20 I hope some of you were able to follow my steps at http://bostonmarathon.com/
Step by step and donation by donation let's do what we can to help families and friends!
Thanks for your support!!
