March 2009: Time flies like an arrow. Please visit my 11th annual birthday fundraising page.
7/19 Update: a grand time was had by all at Sabur, and even the $2,000 goal has been retired! Read all about it (and other things) on limeduck.com
7/12 Update: smashed through the $1000 goal, so I'm upping it to $2000. I'll still cover the fees, and there are just a couple more seats at the dinner available....
======
I'm going to keep turning 29 until I get it right. This year will be the tenth time.
This time I'm using the event as an excuse - as if you really need one - to raise some money for the American Heart Association. I'm sure you know someone whose life has been changed by heart disease.
Just in case doing good and getting out of buying me a birthday present isn't enough, here are two limited-time special offers for you:
1. If this fundraising page makes the $1,000 goal before I turn 29 again, I will make an additional donation to cover Firstgiving's fees on the total amount raised.
2. If you make a donation - any amount - you are invited to a party at Sabur restaurant outside of Davis square on the evening of July 18 to test the heart-healthy Mediterranean paradox diet with me. Food and wine on me. (Vegetarians and vegans welcome) Just be sure to indicate the number of party-goers in your donation comment. (space is limited, I'll update this page when we get close to full)
Donating through Firstgiving is simple, fast and secure. Many thanks for your support, and I look forward to seeing you on the 18th.
