Let's make this year bigger than any other!!!

If you are visiting this page you know me well enough to know my brother, Mick, passed away on June 4, 2011.  Mick was only 46 years young and left us too early.

The picture on this page is from the 2011 Polar Plunge.  Both of my children, Kyle & Eva, jumped in a frozen Reeds Lake for Special Olympics.  They jumped in with their Uncle Mick.  Mick was making his first jump into the frigid waters.  I couldn't have been prouder of my children or my brother. 

I have set a "Huge" goal this year of raising $15,000 for Special Olympics of Michigan. 

We have formed a team, "Korte's Krew", who will be jumping into Reeds Lake in memory of Mick.  Please check out our site at www.freezinforareason.net.  This will give insight into what a great man Mick was.
