David Larson's Joppa Flats Bird-a-thon Page
Thank you for visiting my Joppa Flats Bird-a-thon fundraising page!
Bird-a-thon is Mass Audubon's big fund-raising event, held during the excitement of spring migration. This fund-raiser is hugely important for funding many of our ongoing programs and operations. The minivans we use for programs, the storage sheds, educational equipment, and many other necessities at Joppa Flats have all been funded through Bird-a-thon.
If you would like to support the Joppa Flats Education Center's educational, outreach, and community efforts, please consider making a donation. Of course, the model for Bird-a-thon is a pledged amount per species. Joppa Flats only counts Essex County species, so 200 is our current record. To make a pledge per species, please email the Joppa Flats Bird-a-thon coordinator, Ann Gurka, directly at snowyegret7@verizon.net.
But with this firstgiving.com mechanism, you can cut out the suspense and donate now. Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support - and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
