Running for the Red Cross
Thank you for visiting this fund raising page.
Hurricane Katrina has left many people in desperate need of aid. The easiest way to get help to the people in New Orleans and the rest of the disaster area is to go through already established channels such as the Red Cross. The Red Cross already has the network in place to distribute funds and are mobilized on site. Supporting their efforts will help greatly.
This year all funds raised from sponsoring me at the Chicago Half marathon on September 25th will go to the Red Cross Disaster relief fund.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
I didn't think I would be sending out another call for donations since the Hurricanes in Florida but here we are days after the worst national disaster in US history with agencies still trying to mobilize.
You can donate through this site or directly to the Red Cross at www.redcross.org or you can call at 1800 Help Now either way the money goes to the Red Cross.
The Red Cross will need funds not just now but for the long road ahead.
Thanks for visiting the site.
