As part of our 2009 resolutions, we decided to set some goals. One was to ride together on our Honda cruiser when time and weather permit, and another was to give back to others in need. This will be our first event together where we can combine the two commitments. We will be riding a 30+ mile route through Pompano, Florida starting at the Goodyear Blimp hangar. Motorcyclists are traditionally very supportive of good causes and of their community. I (David) did a Toy Run with my Miami Riders Meet Up group a few weeks before Christmas to a remote Florida migrant worker village and gave toys to children. It was a great ride, with hundreds of other like-minded riders, but also very fulfilling. Bystanders along the route cheered us on, horns were honking, hands pumping into the air. Knowing we are not just burning fuel, but using our passion for riding and putting it to good use is extremely fulfilling.
We know times are tight, for everyone. So any small amount will not only help, but be truly appreciated because we know there are so many other needs for those funds.

FAQs: Yes, this our motorcycle, yes, it is one of the biggest on the road, yes, we are safe and wear helmets (and boots!).
