Welcome to our fundraising page. Please meet Sarah, Grace, Isabel and Sebastian. These are just four of the 500 basset hounds that Guardian Angel Basset Rescue will save this year. These puppies were dropped off to us with their parents. The puppies tested positive for Parvo a serious virus common in unvaccinated dogs. These dogs are currently getting the lifesaving medication from our Veterinary staff.

As the largest single breed rescue in the Midwest, Guardian Angel rescues, provides full veterinary care, fosters and hand selects a home for each of these dogs.

As David is the newest Board Member of the rescue he and Nina have made a commitment to helping the rescue raise the much-needed funds to save these dogs. On September 15th and 16, 2006 Guardian Angel hosts the Illinois Waddle the largest Basset Hound parade in the nation. It is this event that provides the majority of GABR’s operating capital for the year. We count on the support of fellow dog lovers, our families, friends and business associates to provide healthy, happy lives for every dog that we rescue.
