Dave and I have committed to running the Chicago Marathon on October 11, 2009.  This will be Dave's 2nd marathon and my 6th.  We are running with a team from Orchard Hill Church (Iowans for Africa) which is raising money & awareness for World Vision.  It is a Christian organization that works to tackle the root causes of poverty by working with children, families, and their communities to provide things like clean water, health care, nutritious food, education, and economic opportunities.
