First of all, we want to say another huge THANK YOU to all those who donated last year when Dave and I ran the Chicago Marathon and raised money for wells and clean drinking water in Africa. Well, we are at it again this year and Philip, our 12 year old son, has joined Dave and myself in both running and fundraising.  Dave will be running the full marathon in Des Moines and Jacinda and Philip will be running the half marathon.  This year we are raising money to build a school in Mozambique, Africa.  Currently, school children there attend class under a tree on a dirt ground under the scorching sun.  During the rainy season, school is often cancelled.  Without a school building, the government will not provide a teacher.  We hope to change all that with our team's fund raising efforts. Orchard Hill Church and its members partner with Food For the Hungry to make a real difference in that community.  We really hope you will be part of this team and our efforts to bring God's light to that part of the world.
