Donald is just one of 35 basset hounds awaiting forever families here at Daphneyland.  Donald came to us from the Humane Society in Fresno, and was unable to walk upon his intake.  Suffering injury to his leg and hip, emaciated and in terrible condition, Donald has just started to walk and is gaining weight and will be ready for surgery within the next couple of weeks.  Donald is a very lucky boy to have BaRNI as his champion!

Our new rescue affiliate; Basset Rescue Network, Inc. a non-profit organization, has been actively rescuing hounds just like Donald since its original intake of the 26 unwanted Christmas puppies which came here to Daphneyland on December 21, 2005.  As of today, BaRNI has taken in over 52 basset hounds, and have many waiting in the wings! Your donation is tax deductible and helps the needy bassets, what is more rewarding than to help an angel in need?
