This is our Food Fundraising Contest Challenge.

Every single day, the rescue hounds require food!  Volunteers feed them daily and love on them constantly but we need your help to make sure our hounds are fed the best possible food we can get for them.  We have switched our food to Healthwise to make sure hounds such as our senior cancer boy in the photo to the left - gets good healthy nutrition.  Something he never had before he came to us.

Our monthly cost of purchasing all of our food supplies is $1500.00 a month.

Please forward this page to all your friends, or better yet - make a page for another month, and start asking your friends, business associates and family to contribute to your page!  This will be an ongoing need as we have so many hounds that require good food and full bellies - something many of them may not have had in their past lives.  It is the key to rescue, and we need EVERYONES help to make sure this happens!  Volunteers and team members who raise a months food money will have a plaque displayed at Daphneyland which honors them for the month they secured food donations for!  I do hereby challenge each and everyone to help make this successful!  Build a page, email it around and see if you can help feed the hounds! 

I have picked September as our order will need to be placed right around my birthday.  I am asking for donation in honor of Longfellow.  Our love of a senior boy, who does not have much time left with us.  Longfellow ate leftover cat food for most of his life, and we have made sure for many years now, that Longfellow had good food!  At 16 1/2, and with cancer taking its toll - Longfellow is a hound who has stolen all of our hearts.  In honor of Longfellow, will you please donate to this page ?

September is my birthday month.  I encourage anyone who was thinking about sending me a gift, or buying a token to instead make a donation to this page.  Those who know me well know that the hounds welfare is my dedication and mission. Every penny adds up and we know how to stretch those pennies.  The economy has taken its toll on all of us, but the ones who feel it the most are the homeless hounds - please help.
