Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of competing on the world stage on Team USA. I have always admired the Olympians. Now, I have a chance to be an Olympian through Special Olympics.

I am one 1 of 53 individuals from my state to be going to Greece to compete as a member of Team USA. I have been to Special Olympics USA National Games in 2006 for athletics (track and field). I will be competing at the Special Olympics USA National Games in 2010 in athletics.

When I am not practicing, I am a freelance writer and published author of several different books. I have been a volunteer parent educator for the disabled community since 1996. I also enjoy reading, wave boarding, movies, and computer games.
