Albany Karma Thegsum Choling (KTC) is seeking your support to raise money for the completion of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra's (KTD) monastery in nearby Woodstock, NY .  Your donation will support the Karma Kagyu lineage, a thousand year old Buddhist tradition with roots in both and . You will also be assisting in the preservation of traditional Tibetan culture.  The monastery is traditional Tibetan in design, and is open to the public for both retreats as well as tours.  Visitors are afforded the opportunity to experience traditional Tibetan art work and architecture in a setting that might be best described as a 'living museum'.

We are holding a Meditation-Thon that will take place in Washington Park , September 6 - 10, 2006.  During the course of those five days at least one participant will be meditating at all times, day and night.  A small stage will be erected in the park where members of the Albany KTC will meditate during the day.  Participants will meditate at the nearby Tibetan shop, Little Moon, over night.
