I am 4 yrs old and I am a princess.  My name is Grace.    I have neurofibromatosis.  Despite that I am covered in cafe au lait spots (light large birthmarks) I wear only bikinis!  I may look only 2 because I am so small due to my NF but I am 4.  I may have learning problems as I grow up and go to school. Sometimes my gowns make me so itchy because NF makes my skin very very itchy~sometimes I scratch my back and legs till the bleed.  Sometimes my head hurts so much I cry and hold it. My princess friend Mikaela wears a brace on her leg all the time so that her leg bone does not break.  She has NF too.  My prince friend Austin just had an operation on his back because it was so curvy.  He has NF too.  I have lots of friends with NF.  Grown up friends who have many tumors.  Some of them hurt a lot.  Some turn into malignant cancer.  The cancer NF people get is bad and very hard to treat and sometimes fatal.  .  Some of my friends with NF have disfigurements that make their eyes protrude or face sag~these are tumors.  I wish upon a star that someday they will be able to help me and my friends with neurofibromatosis.  My mom and her Run4NF friends hope by running and fundraising they can help make that dream come true.
