NF, neurofibromatosis, causes tumors to grow on those affected.  It also causes learning disabilities, seizures, deafness, deformities, sight loss, cancer, scoliosis, tibial dysplasia and other complications.  NF affects one in every 2500 people, making it the most common genetic disorder.
