My name is Max.  I am an athlete in Virginia Beach.  I am 41 years old and have been in Special Olympics for about 20 years.  I have played many sports over my Special Olympics career but now I am a swimmer.  I train one day a week for 2 hours.  I compete in the 100 Free, 50 Back and 25 Fly.  I am most proud of my butterfly because it is a very hard stroke to learn. 

I am also part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run.  I enjoy working with the police to raise money for Special Olympics.  My favorite thing to do is to hang out with my police friends.  I also have worked for 19 years at Pizza Hut.  I clean the restaurant, fold boxes and make sauce which is my favorite thing to do at work.
