Hi Everyone! 

8 years ago I was diagnosed with Lupus and have been living with the disease, thankfully, without any major problems to my health or daily living.  Since my initial diagnosis, I got married and gave birth to 2 beautiful children...again, without any problems.  I feel blessed that the disease has not taken anything away from me but know that it is a day to day battle that I don't ever forget.  Over the years I have made financial and clothing donations, but this event will be my first "walk" contribution to the LFA and I am looking forward to it!  I hope to make it an annual event so stay tuned to see how I make out!
