Harley is helping his friends at Heartland as spokesdog for the Hogs for Dogs and Kitty's Too! charity ride on Sunday, Sept 20th at 10:00 am.  Registration and shelter visitation starts at Heartland Animal Shelter, 2975 Milwaukee Avenue, Northbrook, IL.  Regustration is $25 in advance at www.heartlandanimalshelter.net..  Join us for our Third Annual ride, with an awesome after party at Jesse Oaks in Gages Lake, IL.  Food, fun, and music by The Average Joe Band.  

Harley the Weimeraner was adopted from Heartland 3 years ago, when he and several of his siblings were relinquished to the shelter by the breeder.  Deb & Jim, his Mom & Dad, are volunteers at Heartland, and started the Hogs for Dogs Charity Ride to help raise funds for this wonderful not-for-profit organization.  This No-Kill Shelter relies exclusively on charitable donations from the community and does not receive any funds from any government agencies.
