Hi friends and family, 

I would like to say thank you SO much for all your support and kind works of encouragement. It has meant so much to me to be so supported. Unfortunately, I will not be able to make it to Nashville for the Marathon. I seem to be having a major setback with my legs and in particular my knees. After training for a few longer walks, my knees began to bother me so much that I had to go see a Doc and have x-rays and now I am getting an MRI. Oh bother!! I feel terrible that you all gave money to support me in my goal to make it to the Marathon. Please tell me if you would like  me to send you back your donation. I completely understand and am more than happy to do that. In my place, Donna, my partner in crime is now taking her husband and he plans on either walking or running the Marathon for the Sjogren's Foundation. Go Dean!!
