I have recently gotten back into running and have set some personal goals for myself.  Part of my endeavors include helping to raise money for children with special needs.  Having one son with Down syndrome and another one with Crohn's disease has given me an entirely different perspective on parenting.  No matter what our children have to deal with and go through, they always seem to have a great outlook on life.  I want to show my kids that Mom can get through this training and cross the finish line with a smile on her face!  I am very proud to be a member of the RUN FOR OUR SONS team and I hope to raise money to help them.
