This is Horace, and he's tap-dancing his way into your heart! Horace was drawn by three incredibly talented participants in my creative writing workshop for seniors at the 14th Street Y, proving that even grown-ups can have fun. Horace and I are happy to be participating in the second annual NY Writers Coalition (NYWC) Write-a-Thon. This daylong writing marathon and festival will benefit NYWC's free creative writing programs. I'll join other writers at Manhattan's Small Press Center to write, and write my a** off.

Horace is asking for your generosity as I 'go the distance' on June 9th. Your pledges will help NYWC continue to offer free, unique and powerful creative writing workshops in neighborhoods throughout NYC.
