Gulliver needs your help!
Hi everybody! My name is Gulliver. I’m a goofy, fun loving, 1 year old, chocolate Lab. I am looking for a home and just can’t wait to be part of a forever family that I can love.
I have a some good and bad news. The bad news is that I have been diagnosed with hip dysplasia. I know you are thinking what could be the good news after hearing that? Well the good news is that the wonderful caring people at Midwest Labrador Retriever Rescue (MLRR) are giving me the opportunity to have full right hip replacement surgery. Not only are they helping me get the surgery they are getting me the best possible surgery available. I just want to thank MLRR and all of you caring, wonderful people for giving this fun-loving, active, chocolate Lab a second chance to continue to run and play like all the other dogs my age.
UPDATE 12-28-06: Hi Everybody! I just wanted to let you know that I am doing great since my surgery. The Doctor was very pleased with how the surgery went. My foster mom is amazed at how well I am getting around after having a major surgery. I guess it will all be worth once I have recuperated and have a brand new hip that will allow me to run and play just like all my Lab friends.
Unfortunately my medical bills have added up to about $2000. Can you please consider making a donation to help Midwest Lab Rescue pay for my bills, and to help other Labs like me who need a home?
Love, Gulliver
