Hello my name is Deborah Goodman, the mom in the middle of the photo, in December of 2000 I was able to donate one of my kidneys to a childhood friend with polycystic kidney disease. I am thankful everyday that my decision to be a live organ donor helped him overcome his life threatening illness. I am happy to say that he is now living a wonderful normal life.

Since I have seen the dramatic life saving effect of live organ donation first hand, I have made it a personal mission to help spread the word of what organ donation can achieve. I hope that by reading this you will strongly think about donating to this cause.
