Trooper's Fundraising Page
Trooper needs our help.
This sweet little pug mix was rescued from the euthanasia list. In addition to some other health issues, he came to us with severe ear infections in both ears and a fungus in one of them. It is one of the worst cases the vet has ever seen. His ears are now hyperplastic (which in layman's terms is "VERY BAD", caused by chronic ear infections and inflammation.
The inflammation has now resulted in fibrosis and scarring which narrowed the opening of his right ear canal but closed it off in his left ear. This hyperplasia will never soften or go away.
Trooper needs surgery to open his ear canals.
It is quite possible that he has already lost his left ear drum. Medication has helped a little, but without this surgery he will continue to suffer. Trooper is also dealing with a terrible case of bronchitis with the possibility of Valley Fever.
Please help us get this little guy the treatment he needs so he can find his forever family.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Please consider making an emergency donation and help us provide the surgery that this beautiful animal requires. The total cost of the surgery (at a discounted rate) is $1,900. Any amount will help.
While we know that the economy is challenging, we also know that even a small (tax-deductible!) donation of $1 - $5 will assist in providing a lifetime of happiness for this pup.

Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to your friends!
