-Cupid has a tumor behind her eye. We had a biopsy last week and it is malignant. Unfortunately, it is inoperable, but she will need ongoing medical care.

 

-Daisy's teeth are so overgrown that she cannot feed herself properly. She needs extensive dental work in order for her to be able to chew her hay. The estimate for this is $500

 

-Ruger has severe laminitis from being run too hard at the track. This beautiful young Thoroughbred can hardly walk 10 feet. He needs extensive farrier work performed on his feet, and we need to use a specialized farrier. He has already had surgery. The estimate is $300

 

-We have 6 pregnant horses from the Premarin Farms in Canada. They are all due this spring and need veterinary care.

 

- In order to help stem the horse overpopulation problem, we geld all ungelded male horses before they are adopted. We have 2 that need gelding next week.
